Holiday Mocktails: The Non-Alcoholic Drinks You’ll Love This Christmas

December 10, 2021

It is no secret that alcohol can be somewhat of a staple through the holiday season. With all the different gatherings and parties with friends & family, it’s very common for cocktails to be present. In fact, it has been found that alcohol consumption can spike as much as 33% from Thanksgiving to New Years Day. But those aren’t the only holidays, we have the Fourth of July, St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, & others that can have a heavy focus on cocktails. But truth be told, alcohol isn't great for you… and it surely won’t help you get any closer to your weight loss goals.

So how will you get through holidays without a delicious drink? The answer is simple, Mocktails!

Why Should I Drink a Mocktail Instead of a Cocktail?

With a mocktail, you can enjoy something tasty to sip on without all of the sugar and empty calories that cocktails typically contain.

Yes, of course drinking plenty of water is also advised & recommended, but we know it can also be nice to have something with some flavor in hand while socializing.

This will keep any of the “feeders” you’re surrounded by at bay.

Who are these feeders we speak of? Those in your life that say things like- “Oh come one, just have a drink,” or “One won’t kill you,” or even “it’s New Years, don’t be a bore by not drinking.” It’s a common thing to endure social pressure with both alcohol and food, but people will be none the wiser that you are enjoying a non-alcohol substitute instead of their high calorie beverage! Leaving you at peace to make good choices and limit temptation.
