Recipe: Protein Popsicles

September 11, 2021

Discover your inner child with these delicious and healthy popsicles that are sure to excite the taste buds! Less than 2g of sugar per serving and packed with 15g of hunger-fighting protein.

These flavorful treats are a win all around as they can satisfy any sweet cravings you may have, give you a new & exciting way to get in your high nutrient supplements, and can help you achieve fat burning

How you may ask? Remember, your HNS, aka protein drinks are key to burning fat storage. In order for your body to break down protein, it seeks fuel from fats to have the energy necessary for digestion. With our HNS containing 15 grams of protein and ZERO grams of fat, your body has no choice but to use your stored fat as energy to break down and digest the protein.

Many of our clients enjoy incorporating these treats into their week because on top of the other benefits we mentioned, it is a way to reduce your fluid consumption. For those of you that feel that between the “clear” water intake and the water used to mix up the protein drinks is sometimes difficult, this recipe is definitely for YOU!

So to begin, you will want to pick your HNS flavor of choice. You can make several of the same flavor or can choose to make one of each of your favorites to offer variety. We made ours in a popsicle mold tray, which you can find online or at your local supermarket. Don’t want to purchase molds? That’s okay! Try using paper cups and wooden sticks, or you can even make these in a cup and enjoy them with a spoon once frozen.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg of your High Nutrient Supplement of choice
  • 4 oz water

Instructions:

  • Mix up your HNS with the 4 oz of water, it does work easiest with the liquid concentrates rather than the powder, but the powder HNS can still be used. If using powder you will just want to mix using a shaker cup or blender to help it properly dissolve. Do feel free to add more water or less depending on how concentrated you want the flavor to be.
  • Pour your mix into your popsicle tray or cup, for most trays if using 4 oz of water, one HNS will make two popsicles.
  • Freeze for at least two hours.
  • Enjoy!
