Could a Hormone Imbalance Be Impacting Your Weight Loss?
At Metabolic Research Center we take a holistic approach to weight loss, tackling it from every angle. One of the aspects we consider is how hormones impact your ability to lose weight. This is why we offer hormone testing as an option with all Metabolic plans.
If you're doing everything "right" but still struggling to lose weight or feel your best, hormones may be playing a role. Our at-home Hormone Detection Kits are designed to help identify potential imbalances that may affect metabolism, energy, mood, and weight management—so you can make informed choices that support your wellness journey.*

BENEFITS OF TESTING:
- Helps reveal patterns from hormones like estrogen, cortisol, and more, that may be influencing your weight and well-being. *
- Understanding your hormonal trends allows you to better align your nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle habits with your body’s needs.*
- Balanced hormones help support more restful sleep, mental clarity, and improved vitality. *
- Help provide a clearer picture of internal patterns that may contribute to stalled weight loss.*
- Know more about your body and make proactive choices—because knowledge is the first step toward feeling your best.*
MRC's Hormone Detection Kit
Our test is a simple, reliable means of measuring hormone levels in saliva to identify hidden hormone imbalances. For a complete hormonal picture, we test all of the following hormones together:
- Estradiol (E2) estrogen: high levels = estrogen dominance, which causes weight gain and can block thyroid function and lower metabolism rates
- Progesterone (Pg): keeps estrogen levels balanced; a deficiency leads to buildup and estrogen dominance
- Testosterone (T): builds bone and muscle; an imbalance leads to loss of lean muscle mass, which is then replaced by fat
- DHEAs (Ds): a deficiency is linked to overall hormonal imbalance, anxiety, low energy and abdominal fat
- Cortisol (C): high cortisol spikes food cravings, sleep disturbances, constant hunger or “never feeling full”
